About Workshop
Life confronts us with four ultimate concerns (Death, Isolation, Freedom, and Meaninglessness) as described by existential psychologist Irvin Yalom. While all of us must face each of these truths, the Enneagram reveals that our center of intelligence shapes which concern feels most pressing: Gut types (8, 9, 1) resonate most with Death, Heart types (2, 3, 4) with Isolation, and Head types (5, 6, 7) with Freedom. Meaninglessness is a universal challenge, arising when ego-driven strategies for purpose begin to fail.
In this experiential session, we’ll explore how each type’s existential shadow, the hidden fear they resist most, emerges from these concerns.
Through guided meditation, type-specific mapping, and group discussion, you’ll uncover your own patterns of avoidance, discover growth pathways, and connect with the deeper meaning that arises beyond ego.
This journey invites you to align with reality, embrace your strengths and shadows, and reconcile inner divisions, transforming life’s deepest challenges into gateways for freedom, connection, and purpose.
